Steve "Reno" Adams joined MTI in 1993 as an deburr operator.  In 1994 he helped get MTI's Heat Treat operations running and certified by our customers. In 1996 Steve became a Production Manager and set up the chemical processes for which MTI is currently certified. In 1998 he became the Lean Manufacturing Focal for MTI.  Steve has been involved with several Accelerated Improvement Workshops and other "lean" events that have resulted in significant process improvements at MTI. In 2000 Steve was promoted to Operation Director responsible for the following areas: Heat Treat, Chemical Processing, Polish, Paint, Assembly, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Hardness and Conductivity Inspection, and Stretch Form.
